PACCAR PX-9 CM2350 (2013-17) Fault Code:3375 PID:SID 115 SPN:5397 FMI:11 Aftertreatment Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration Too Frequent – Condition Exists

Reason:
Aftertreatment Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration too Frequent – Condition Exists. The system has detected the need for an active regeneration has occurred too soon following the last active regeneration.

Effect:
None on performance.

Circuit Description:
The ECM records the time from the completion of an active regeneration of the aftertreatment diesel particulate filter until the ECM request another active regeneration of the diesel particulate filter.

Component Location:
The aftertreatment diesel particulate filter is located in the exhaust system and is installed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Refer to the OEM service manual.

Conditions for Running the Diagnostics:
This diagnostic only runs after successful completion of an active regeneration of the aftertreatment diesel particulate filter.

Conditions for Setting the Fault Codes:
The time between the completion of a successful active regeneration and the requests for another active regeneration was less than a threshold.

Action Taken When the Fault Code is Active:
The ECM illuminates the amber CHECK ENGINE lamp and/or the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) immediately when the diagnostic runs and fails.

Conditions for Clearing the Fault Code:
1) This diagnostic can not be run in the shop enviornment.
2) To validate the repair, start the engine and perform the INSITE™ electronic service tool Aftertreatment Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration Test.
3) It is necessary to use the “Reset All Faults” command in INSITE™ electronic service tool to clear this fault and extinguish the amber CHECK ENGINE lamp and/or Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).
