CONTROL UNIT:
Engine ECU
DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers signal line contains a short circuit to a lower voltage.
SYMPTOM:
Coolant level cannot be detected.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Signal line short-circuited to frame ground.
2. Signal line contains a short circuit to a lower voltage.
3. Sensor fault.
