CAT 3406E (Prefix 1MM or 2WS) Fault Code: 42 PID: SPN: 22 FMI: 13 Engine Speed Signal Calibration Not Performed
The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
•A timing calibration has never been performed on a new ECM or the timing is off by more than three degrees.
Probable Causes:
1) Speed/timing sensor not calibrated properly (Need CAT software to do this)
2) Speed/timing sensor failure
3) Speed/timing sensor harness failure
