CAT 3406E (Prefix 1MM or 2WS) Fault Code: 46 PID: SPN: 100 FMI: 1 Low Oil Pressure Warning
The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
• Oil pressure drops below factory limits for more than 8 seconds
Probable Causes:
1) Low oil level
2) Low oil pressure sensor
3) Low oil pressure sensor harness
4) If codes also active for barometric, atmospheric pressure, or boost pressure, repair those first
5) Verify 5V to all pressure sensors
6) Manually check engine for oil pressure to verify sensor is performing correctly
7) ECM connection/harness
