CAT 3406E (Prefix 5DS or 1LW) Fault Code: 00 PID: 171 SPN: FMI: 11 Ambient Air Temperature Data Lost
The Engine Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
•The ECM is not receiving information about the ambient air temperature from the SAE J1587 data link.
Probable Causes:
1) ECM Connection/Harness
2) Truck batteries
3) Wiring between batteries & ECM
4) Fuses
