Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 4077 FMI 3 (MCM) Doser Fuel Line Pressure Sensor Circuit Failed High

DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects that the hydrocarbon (HC) doser fuel line pressure (FLP) sensor circuit is failed high.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
Hydrocarbon (HC) doser fuel line pressure sensor.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always enabled

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Always enabled

TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
None

VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. If 4077-3 and 94-3 are present, repair the open between pin 104 of the ECM 120-pin connector and pin 4 (or pin 2 on DD15 engines) of the hydrocarbon doser fuel lines pressure sensors.
2. Failed fuel line pressure (FLP) sensor.
3. Wiring between the FLP sensor & the ECM.
