MONITORED PARAMETER:
Injector needle control valve cylinder 1, 2, 3 .
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Engine RPM = Idle or higher.
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.
TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

1. MIL
2. CEL
ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%
VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Short to power between front fuel injector harness (14-pin connector) and the ECM (120-pin connector).
2. Under valve cover fuel injector harness.
