DESCRIPTION:
Hydrocarbon (HC) doser circuit failed.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
HC doser circuit.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always enabled

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Always enabled

TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Wiring between the EDV and the 120-pin ECM connection.
2. Metering unit failure.
3. Electronic dosing valve failure.
