Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) pressure sensor – drift.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) pressure.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Pressure limiting unit off.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
Five hour engine off time.

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:
Five seconds

DASH LAMPS:
MIL

VERIFICATION:
SCR quantity test.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. DEF metering unit pressure sensor.
2. DEF metering unit pressure sensor connector/harness.
3. Flush DEF metering system.
