DESCRIPTION:
Injector cylinder #6 needle control valve shorted circuit.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
Injector cylinder #6 needle control valve.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Engine rpm = idle or higher.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.

NOTE: If code 168-xx or 723-xx present, fix those first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Front fuel injector harness connection (14-pins).
2. Injector harness.
3. Failed injector.
4. Engine side harness failure.
5. MCM (Engine ECM) failure.
