Detroit DD13 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 3509 FMI 3 (MCM) 5V Sensor Supply Bank 1 Circuit Failed High
DESCRIPTION:
This code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects a short to voltage on pins 58 or 117.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
5V internal power supply.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
Short to power from the MCM pins to a sensor:
1. Pin 58, charge air cooler outlet pressure sensor.
2. Pin 102, charge air cooler pressure sensor.
3. Pin 103, inlet air delta p & intake throttle valve.
4. Pin 117, inlet air delta p & intake throttle valve.
