DESCRIPTION:
This fault sets when intake throttle position does not match requested range.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
Intake throttle valve (ITV).
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Engine rpm = idle or higher.
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.
TYPICAL DURATION:
Five seconds

ENGINE REACTION:
No derate
VERIFICATION:
Engine rpm = idle or higher.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Damaged ITV butterfly flap.
2. Faulty ITV motor.
3. Faulty ITV sensor.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Air throttle valve harness
2. ITV harness connector
3. Intake throttle valve failure
4. Cold temperatures may falsly cause this code to appear
5. Intake throttle valve sensor
