Detroit DD13 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 599 FMI 4 (CPC) Both Cruise Control Switches, Set and Res, are Shorted to Ground
NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code.
NOTE: This code is related to both cruise switches. Test both RES and SET switch to see if they both light up on the dash. One probably is broken.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Cruise control RES or SET switch failure.
2. Wiring from switches to ECM connections.
