TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Injector amplification command (fis_nop_act) is greater than 1.85 when the engine rpm is greater than 1,000.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
Engine rpm 1000 to 1500: One minute.

NOTE: If codes 168-xx or 723-xx active, fix those first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Inspect front fuel injector harness 14-pin connector.
2. Front injector harness failure.
3. Failed injector.
4. Engine side harness failure.
5. Failed MCM (Engine ECM).
