DESCRIPTION:
Quantity control valve (QCV) error.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
Quantity control valve.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
RP closed loop control.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Current less than 200 mA.

TYPICAL DURATION:
Two seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Wiring between the ECM and the quantity control valve.
2. Quantity control valve.
3. ECM Failure.
