DESCRIPTION:
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) abnormal temperature rise.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
SCR inlet temperature, SCR outlet temperature.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:
10 seconds

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
Parked regeneration.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Inspect the entire air intake system for leaks, including the charge air cooler.
2. Intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor.
3. Intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor connector/harness.
