Detroit DD15 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 84 FMI 5 (MCM) Vehicle Speed Sensor Open Circuit
NOTE: This SPN is broadcast to the motor control module (MCM) via the common powertrain controller (CPC).
NOTE: Please see the step by step troubleshooting procedures for this specific code.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Vehicle speed sensor.
2. Wiring between vehicle speed sensor and ECM.
