Eaton Gen 1 (AutoShift) Fault Code: 71 PID: SID 60 FMI: 7 Stuck Engaged

Overview:
This code indicates the transmission was unable to move the front box to neutral, during a shift request.

Detection:
The transmission detects this by attempting the same shifter actions five times and not sensing the desired position.

Fallback:
This causes an In Place Fallback.

Possible Causes:
1) Low power to gear select motor
2) Failed gear select sensor
3) Malfunctioning electric shifter
4) Malfunctioning yoke/clutch/mainshaft
5) Failed shift block
6) Failed or misaligned shift block
7) Electric shifter calibration
8) Dragging clutch
9) Torque locked in gear
