PACCAR MX (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: P1032 Vehicle Speed Sensor – Data Erratic, Intermittent or Incorrect, at Ignition On

SET CONDITIONS:
The PCI ECU (D420) detects that the measured vehicle speed is more than 3 km/h (1.86 mph) after the ignition is keyed on.

DTC P1032 becomes active after five key cycles with an incorrect measured vehicle speed.

DIAGNOSTIC CONDITION:
This diagnostic runs once each key cycle. The vehicle speed is checked 2 seconds after the ignition is keyed on.

RESET CONDITION:
This DTC changes to inactive when the fault is no longer detected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Faulty vehicle speed signal
2. Vehicle not at a standstill when keying the ignition on
3. CAN communication errors
