PACCAR MX (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: U1799 CAN Communication – Message (TSC1 yye) Data Error

SET CONDITIONS:
This DTC is set if a fault is detected in the Torque Speed Control message coming from the Adaptive Cruise Control.

DIAGNOSTIC CONDITION:
This diagnostic runs continuously when the ignition is on.

CORRESPONDING OBD READINESS MONITOR:
None

RESET CONDITION:
This DTC will change to inactive immediately after the diagnostic runs and passes.

REPAIR VERIFICATION:
1. Clear all DTCs.
2. Test drive or operate the vehicle to meet the diagnostic conditions and set conditions.
3. Did the DTC come back?
– No, repair successful
– Yes, repair unsuccessful

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. External interference of the CAN communication
2. Defective component
3. Software incorrect or incompatible
