DESCRIPTION:
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) metering unit air pressure low.

MONITORED PARAMETER:
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) metering unit air pressure.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Engine rpm greater than 500.
2. Dosing enabled.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.

TYPICAL DURATION:
Six seconds

DASH LAMPS:
MIL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
SCR air pressure test (test duration is 60 seconds).

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Vehicle not reaching 100 PSI.
2. DEF metering unit air pressure sensor.
3. Pressure limiting valve.
4. Flush DEF system.
