Volvo All Engines (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: PID 240 FMI 11 Program Memory

Fault Condition: Code PID 240 with an FMI 7 (Mechanical System Not Responding/Out Of Adjustment) or 11 (Root Cause Not Known) will set if the Engine Management System (EMS) Module detects a software failure

Code will set if the Engine Management System (EMS) Module detects a software failure, if the software is not production software, if either the truck is or has been involved in an engineering test, or if someone has attempted to program the Engine Management System (EMS) Module in an unauthorized manner. If this code occurs call MACK Reliability Engineering.
