Volvo All Engines (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: SID 39 FMI 14 Starter Output

Fault Condition: FMI 14 indicates the PTO is engaged and locks out the starter motor operation.

Possible repairs:

Turn the ignition key OFF first.

1) If the FMI is 14 (programming failure), the PTO is engaged and locks out the starter motor operation.
