Volvo All Engines (2004 Emissions) Fault Code: SID27 FMI 0 Variable Geometry Turbocharger Smart Remote Actuator

Fault Condition: If the information transmitted from the VGT SRA is above range, FMI 0 will set.

Possible repairs:

1) If code SID 27 is not set, wiggle the harness and connectors to try to set the code. Visually inspect the VGT SRA connector for poor connections.
2) If the FMI is 0 (Data High) or 2 (Data Erratic), replace the VGT SRA assembly and retest the system.
