1) High engine coolant temperature (ECT)
2) Drive-abilty effected
Probable cause
1) If the thermostat is stuck in closed position the engine will not be cooled
Detailed information
1) The thermostat may have seized in closed position if the coolant temperature continued to rise at the same rate as the oil temperature
