The function identifies the exhaust temperature and indicates malfunction in the exhaust system. The evaluation is done at engine load after an engine cold start via three different temperature sensors. The exhaust gas temperature is used to determine when regeneration will run.
Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Open circuit
2) Short circuit to battery voltage
3) Replace with phrase describing observable symptom or hide

4) Dosage electronic control unit (ECU) (ACM)
