Volvo All Engines (2010 Emissions) Fault Code: SPN 175 FMI 5 PID: Engine Oil Temperature

The Engine Oil Temperature/Level Sensor contains two resistors: One for engine oil temperature and one for engine oil level.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) The voltage at pin A14.EA:31 is below normal value

Diagnostic operating conditions
1) Ignition key in ON position

Observable symptoms
1) The engine coolant temperature (ECT) gauge shows 0
2) Engine fan constantly engaged

Probable cause
1) Connector
2) Wiring harness
3) Engine oil level (EOL) and temperature sensor
4) Engine control module (ECM)
