Volvo All Engines (2010 Emissions) Fault Code: SPN 2629 FMI 15 PID: 404 Engine Turbocharger 1 Compressor Outlet Temperature – Least Severe Level
The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses values from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT), Intake Manifold Pressure (IMP) and compressor efficiency to calculate the Compressor Discharge Temperature.
Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) The calculated charge air temperature output from the turbo is too high
Observable symptoms
1) Engine de-rated
Probable cause
1) High ambient temperature
2) Low air pressure
3) A leak in the turbocharger inlet pipe can cause hot air to be sucked into the inlet system
