Volvo All Engines (2010 Emissions) Fault Code: SPN 411 FMI 16 PID: Engine Exhaust Gas Recirculation Differential Pressure

This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) monitors and evaluates malfunctions in the (EGR) Exhaust Gas Recirculation Diff Pressure. A faulty (EGR) Exhaust Gas Recirculation differential Pressure can lead to uneven running and response problems.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) The sensor signal is above normal range

Observable symptoms
1) Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illuminated

1) B166: EGR Differential Pressure Sensor

Activation
1) When the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is active the engine control module (ECM) investigates during an extra driving cycle whether the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) should be lit. If the DTC is active after the investigation the lamp lights up.

Deactivation
1) Erase diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
