DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers that the signal from the speed sensor is missing.
SYMPTOM:
1. Fuel consumption higher than normal.
2. Engine runs rough/ varying engine speed.
3. Misfiring.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Loose connection.
2. Incorrectly installed sensor.
3. Defective sensor.
4. Short circuit to voltage.
5. Open circuit.
