DETECTION CONDITIONS:
No messages arriving on the control link (SAE J1939).
SYMPTOM:
1. Preheating relay not functioning.
2. Engine brake not functioning.
3. Information is read/transmitted on the information link (SAE J1708) instead.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Short-circuit to voltage on control link (SAE J1939).
2. Short-circuit to frame ground on control link (SAE J1939).
3. Leads in control link (SAE J1939) short-circuited to each other.
