Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 296 PID: 223 SPN: 1388 FMI: 14 Auxiliary Pressure Sensor Input 1 – Special Instructions
This fault code is activated when the pressure input from the OEM sensor exceeds the engine protection limit defined by the OEM. An engine power derate is possible depending on the OEM application.
Possible repairs:
1)The engine protection limit has been exceeded for the OEM supplied pressure input.
