Detroit DD13 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 3716 FMI 31 (ACM) High Idle Regeneration Aborted – Low Coolant Temp

NOTE: The fault indicates that the high idle regeneration (HIR) was aborted due to the coolant temperature not reaching the minimum 60°C (140°F) to initiate a high idle regeneration. The amber warning lamp (AWL) comes on for approximately 15 seconds during the regeneration then goes out and the regeneration aborts. If engine fails to reach 60°C (140°F).

NOTE: Engine can not regen because coolant does not get up to at leat 140 degrees. You need to find the reason coolant won’t get up to temperature.
