Detroit DD15 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 157 FMI 1 (MCM) Fault of the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, Wiring, or Quantity Control Valve
NOTE: The motor control module (MCM) monitors the fuel rail pressure and when fuel rail pressure deviation in 200 bar higher than the requested fuel rail pressure for eight seconds, the MCM sets the code.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Faulty fuel rail pressure sensor.
2. Faulty QCV.
3. Faulty MCM.
4. Faulty wiring.
