Detroit DD16 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 974 FMI 3 (CPC) Remote Accelerator Pedal Circuit Failed High
DESCRIPTION:
This fault may occur if remote accelerator pedal is programmed ON and remote pedal circuit is shorted to power while pin 8 of the Common Powertrain Controller (CPC) Connector #2 is grounded.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
Remote throttle sensor.

Always enabled

VERIFICATION:
1. Key on.
2. Engine on with remote pedal activated.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Faulty wiring.
2. Faulty remote throttle switch.
