Cummins ISL CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2448 PID: SPN: 111 FMI: 17 Coolant Level – Data Valid But Below Normal Operational Range – Least Severe Level. Low engine coolant level detected.
Verify the electronic control module (ECM) calibration is correct. Check the calibration revision history found on QuickServe? Online for applicable fixes to the calibration stored in the ECM. If necessary, recalibrate the ECM.
This fault code goes active when the coolant level inside the radiator top tank or surge tank drops below the sensor level. Fill the top tank with coolant.
Possible repairs:
1)Add coolant to the engine.
