Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 3246 FMI 8 (MCM) Motor Control Module Has Detected an Impossible Temperature Shift on the Diesel Particulate Filter Outlet Temperature Sensor

NOTE: If codes 3246-3, 3242-3, 3250-3 or 1172-3 active, fix those first.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Wiring between the turbocharger compressor inlet temperature and the 120-pin MCM connection.
2. DPF outlet temperature sensor.
3. DPF outlet temperature sensor connector/harness.
