Detroit DD13 GHG14 (2014-16) Fault Code: SPN 701 FMI 4 (MCM, CPC) Digital Output 4 09 – Indicated by a Short to Ground on Pin 9 Circuit of the Common Powertrain Controller #4 Connector
NOTE: The CPC digital outputs have the same SPN as some motor control module (MCM) faults. The diagnostic service tool 7X makes the distinction between the MCM and CPC when diagnosing a fault.
NOTE: If engine is programmed correctly, failure is a short to ground on pin 9 of the CPC4 connector.
