PACCAR PX-6 CM2150 (2007-09) Fault Code: 2754 PID: SPN: 81 FMI: 16 Engine Particulate Filter Inlet Pressure – Data Valid but Above Normal Operational Range – Moderately Severe Level. Excessive black smoke has been detected exiting the engine and entering the aftertreatment diesel particulate filter.

Verify the electronic control module (ECM) calibration is correct. Check the calibration revision history found on QuickServe® Online for applicable fixes to the calibration stored in the ECM. If necessary, calibrate the ECM.

Possible causes:

1)Boost leaks in the charge air cooler plumbing
2)A malfunction of the variable geometry turbocharger (VGT)
3)A malfunction of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve
4)A faulty in-range EGR differential pressure sensor
5)A faulty in-range boost pressure sensor
6)A faulty in-range barometric pressure sensor
7)A cylinder misfire or overfueling.

Possible repairs:

1)Repair or replace the leaking component.
2)Clean or replace the charge air cooler
3)Replace the intake manifold pressure sensor.
4)Replace the barometric pressure sensor.
5)If necessary, calibrate the ECM.
