Volvo All Engines (2010 Emissions) Fault Code: SPN 171 FMI 12 PID: 171 Ambient Air Temperature
The ambient air temperature signal is sent to the instrument cluster module. The instrument cluster module then transmits the ambient air temperature data to the Engine Control Module (ECM) via the J1939 data lines.
Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Communications error
