The aftertreatment fuel pump is controlled by the aftertreatment control module (ACM). The ACM supplies voltage to the aftertreatment fuel pump. The aftertreatment fuel pump supplies fuel from the vehicles fuel system through the fuel shutoff valve to the aftertreatment diesel particulate filter (DPF) atomization module.
Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Plausibility
2) Aftertreatment fuel pressure below normal value
Observable symptoms
1) Regeneration not possible
Probable cause
1) Aftertreatment Fuel Pressure Sensor
2) Aftertreatment fuel shut-off valve
3) Aftertreatment Fuel Pump
4) Aftertreatment diesel particulate filter (DPF) wiring harness, below raceway
5) Chassis Harness
6) Restriction in the fuel return line
7) Fuel supply lines from engine fuel system
