Cummins ISX CM870 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2963 PID: P110 SPN: 110 FMI: 0/16 Engine Coolant Temperature – Data Valid But Above Normal Operating Range – Least Severe Level. Engine coolant temperature is above the engine protection warning limit.

The engine coolant temperature sensor measures the temperature of the engine coolant as it passes through the thermostat housing. This fault code is activated if the engine coolant temperature is above 107?C [225?F] for at least five seconds.

Possible causes:

1)Obstructed radiator
2)Plugged vent lines
3)Aerated coolant
4)Other cooling system failure.
