Cummins ISB CM850 (2003-06) Fault Code: 2374 PID: 95 SPN: 1209 FMI: 4 Exhaust gas pressure sensor circuit – shorted low. Low voltage detected on the exhaust gas pressure sensor exhaust circuit.
The exhaust gas pressure sensor shares supply and return wires in the engine harness with other sensors. Opens and shorts in the engine harness can cause multiple fault codes to become active.
Possible causes:
1)Signal wire open or shorted to ground in the harness
2)Supply line open or shorted to ground
3)Sensor shorted to ground.
Possible repairs:
1)Replace the exhaust gas pressure sensor.
2)Repair or replace the engine harness.
3)Replace the ECM.
